Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab (1115–1206 AH / 1703–1792 CE) was a prominent Islamic scholar, theologian, and reformer from Najd, in present-day Saudi Arabia. He is best known for his efforts to revive the pure teachings of Islam, calling Muslims back to Tawheed (monotheism) and adherence to the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah.
