Imam al-Barbahari (d. 329 AH) was a prominent Hanbali scholar known for his firm stance on Islamic creed and adherence to the Qur’an and Sunnah. His famous work Sharh al-Sunnah remains an important reference on orthodox belief and the way of the Salaf.
