Imam Hafiz Abu Abdur Rahman Ahmad bin Shu’aib bin Ali An-Nasa’i (214–303 AH) is one of the greatest hadith scholars of early Islam, famed for his expertise in hadith preservation and authentication. Born in Nasa (Khurasan), he traveled extensively to centers of learning — including Baghdad, Ash-Sham, Egypt, and Mecca — in pursuit of knowledge from legendary scholars of his time.
