Biography of the Author
His full name is Abu at-Tayyib Muhammad Siddiq Khan Ibn Hassan Ibn Ali Ibn Lutf Allah al-Husseini al-Bukhari al- Qanuji, whose origin is linked to Zain al-Abideen Ibn Ali Ibn al-Hussein Ibn Ali Ibn Abu Ta'leb. He was born in Barili then moved to Qanuj when he was a child. He acquired his religious knowledge in Delhi, India. After numerous journeys, he ended up in the city of Bahubal and married the Queen of the town.
Sheikh Muhammad Siddiq Khan, may Allah have mercy upon him, of medium height, not grey-haired and his hair reaches his earlobes.
Among his teachers Sheikh Abdul Haqq Ibn Fadl Allah al- Hindi, a student of Imam ash-Shoukani, may Allah have mercy upon them all.
He read so many books and wrote so many as well. He used to write hundreds of pages every day. Among his Books:
1- The Signs of the Hour.
