It is narrated by Al-Bukhari 25 Historians say: Abu Bakr passed away on Monday night between Sunset Prayer and Night Prayer, eight days before the end of Jumada Al-Akhirah in the thirteenth year of Hijrah, at the age of sixty-three. His will was to have his wife Asma' bathe him, which she did. and to be buried next to the Messenger of Allah).
