The Sublime Beauty of the Prophet (may Allah bless him & give him peace) straight [but slightly wavy]. When he reached the age of forty, Allah the Exalted granted him Prophethood. He stayed for ten years in Makkah and in Madinah for ten years. Allah took his soul upon the completion of sixty years, at that time there were no more than twenty white hairs on his head and beard." ٢- حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ البَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ خَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكِ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ الله رَبَّعَةً: لَيْسَ بِالطَّوِيل وَلاَ بِالقَصِيرِ، حَسَنَ الجِسْمِ، وَكَانَ شَعْرَهُ لَيْسَ بِجَعْدِ وَلَا سَبْطٍ، أَسْمَرَ اللَّوْنِ، إِذَا مَشَى يَتَكَفَّا 2. Humayd Ibn Mas'adah al-Başri narrated to us; 'Abdu'l-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated to us; from Humayd that Anas Ibn Malik (radiy Allahu 'anhu) said: "The Messenger of Allah () was of a medium stature, he was neither [excessively] tall nor short, with handsome physique (basan al-jism). His hair was neither tightly curled nor completely straight [but slightly wavy]. He had a red- coloured complexion (asmar al-lawn). When he walked, he would incline forward."2 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ - يَعْنِي العَبْدِيَّ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ البَرَاءَ بُنَ عَازِبٍ دِ يَقُولُ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ الله رَجُلًا مَرْبُوعًا، بَعِيدَ مَا بَيْنَ المَنْكِبَيْنِ، عَظِيمَ الْجَمَّةِ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ أَذْنَيْهِ، عَلَيْهِ حُلَّةٌ حَرَاءُ، مَا رَأَيْتُ شَيْئًا قَط أَحْسَنَ مِنْهُ Bukhari, #5899, Muslim, #2347 and Tirmidhi, #362. 2 Bukhari, #3547, Muslim, #2330, Nasa'i in al-Kubra, #9311 and Tirmidhi, #1754 and he said: It is hasan sahih gharib 29

Imam Muhammad Ibn Isa Al-Trimidhi
