INTRODUCTION
ومن
إن الحمد لله نحمده ونستعينه ونستغفره ونعوذ بالله من شرور من يهده الله فلا مضل له ومن يضلل سيئات أعمالنا ، أنفسنا فلا هادي له، وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله.
Verily, all praise is due to Allah, the Exalted. We praise Him and we seek His Aid and we ask His Forgiveness; and we seek protection with Allah from the evil of ourselves and the wickedness of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, there is none that can misguide him and whomsoever Allah causes to go astray, there is none that can guide him. And I bear witness that none is worthy of worship except Allah Alone, without partners; and I bear witness that Muhammad (Blessings and peace be upon him), is His slave and His Messenger.
While delivering lectures on Islamic topics, I have more than once been asked questions such as: "Why is it that Allah does not answer my prayers?" or: "Why am I encountering problems since my conversion to Islam?" You may have heard or even asked the question: "Why Allah does not answer my prayers?". Such a question is usually raised in times of hardships and calamities.
The answer to it cannot be expected from any human being, but it comes from Allah, the. Most Glorified, Himself in His saying:
For indeed, with hardship there is ease. (Qur'an 94: 5) Thus, sincere believers should not worry when they are tested by Allah, the Almighty, nor should they lose their patience and hope. Instead, they need to revive trust in Allah's promise:
...And whoever relies upon Allah

In addition to the wisdom of the above two verses, every reasonable person realizes that life is a combination of failure and success, loss and profit, ups and downs. So, whoever suffers a shortcoming one day, he may find his "Silver Lining" and enjoy well-being on another day.
