ومن
إن الحمد لله نحمده ونستعينه ونستغفره ونعوذ بالله من شرور من يهده الله فلا مضل له ومن يضلل سيئات أعمالنا ، أنفسنا فلا هادي له، وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله.
Verily, all praise is due to Allah, the Exalted. We praise Him and we seek His Aid and we ask His Forgiveness; and we seek protection with Allah from the evil of ourselves and the wickedness of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, there is none that can misguide him and whomsoever Allah causes to go astray, there is none that can guide him. And I bear witness that none is worthy of worship except Allah Alone, without partners; and I bear witness that Muhammad (Blessings and peace be upon him), is His slave and His Messenger.
While delivering lectures on Islamic topics, I have more than once been asked questions such as: "Why is it that Allah does not answer my prayers?" or: "Why am I encountering problems since my conversion to Islam?" For indeed, with hardship there is ease. (Qur'an 94: 5) Thus, sincere believers should not worry when they are tested by Allah, the Almighty, nor should they lose their patience and hope. Instead, they need to revive trust in Allah's promise:
