Description of islamic Book

The Rights of the Children According to the Qur’an & Sunnah is a thoughtful and practical guide that highlights the importance Islam places on the care and upbringing of children. In this book, Dr. Muhammad ibn Umar Bazmool explains the responsibilities that parents and guardians have toward their children, using clear references from the Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.Rather than being just a theoretical discussion, the book reminds readers that raising children is a trust from Allah. It emphasizes compassion, fairness, proper education, and moral guidance as essential elements in nurturing a strong Muslim family.

From Author:

“All of you are shepherds and each of you are responsible for his flock. The leader is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock; a man is a shepherd regarding his family and is responsible for his flock; a woman is a shepherd in her husband's house, and she is responsible for her flock; the servant is a shepherd regarding the wealth of his master and responsible for his flock" He said: I think he said: "and man is the shepherd of his father's wealth and is responsible for his flock. All of you are shepherds and each of you are responsible for his flock.” “My father gave me a gift, so Amra bint Rawahah said: 'I will not be happy until you make the Messenger of Allâh (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) a witness to this.' Then the Messenger of Allâh (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) came, so he said: 'I gave my son from Amra bint Rawahah a gift, but she ordered me to tell you, oh Messenger of Allah.” He said: "Did you give the rest of your children the same as this?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Fear Allâh and be fair to all your children.' So he went and took back the gift.”

In this book, the author explains that Islam gives great importance to the rights of children and places serious responsibility on parents and guardians. Children have the right to proper care, love, education, and guidance according to Islamic teachings. When these rights are fulfilled, families become stronger and society benefits from righteous and well-mannered individuals. The book serves as a reminder that raising children is not only a social duty but also an act of worship and a trust that Allah has placed upon parents.
