I begin in the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Allah mentions several times in the Qur'an that the successful ones are those that think deeply, contemplate and look around them at His creation for evidence and signs that all point to the Creator Himself.
I once heard someone say that 'life was like a test', which made me think. The first thing I thought of was all the academic tests that I had sat in school. The more I thought about it, the more I could see the similarities between my time spent at university and the life of this world. That was the starting point for writing this book.
The aim of this book is mainly to guide you and help you make an informed and proactive start to your university life so that you can get the best out of your short time here. It also highlights the

About the Author
Idris Zahoor attended the University of Westminster where he studied 'The Built Environment and Building Surveying. He must have done something right as he left with a 2:1 (Hons) degree!
As well as learning about buildings, he also started to pay more attention to Islam and increasing his knowledge of the deen during this time. He has since studied under Ustadh Hassan Abu Taymiyyah and now spends much of his spare time trying to gain Islamic knowledge and passing it on.
Idris has now joined his father and brother in the property development and investment family business and juggles this with his commitments as a husband and father of three young children.
