A must-read for anyone seeking to understand the essence of Islamic Dawah.
From Author:
This book is written by Shaykh Rabee’ Ibn Haadee Al-Madkhalee, a respected Islamic scholar known for his works on Aqeedah, Dawah, and the methodology of Ahlus-Sunnah. His writings focus on guiding Muslims towards the authentic teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Content:
Following the Prophetic Method
Calling people to Allah is a great honour, but it requires more than enthusiasm. The book emphasizes the need for beneficial knowledge, righteous action, sound understanding, and careful adherence to the methodology of the Prophets.
It addresses essential questions for anyone involved in Da‘wah:
Where should the call begin?
What should a caller give the greatest attention to?
What is the ultimate goal of Da‘wah?
How can the methodology of the Prophets be followed correctly?
The Importance of Correct Priorities
The author discusses how an incomplete or incorrectly focused call can become an obstacle between Islaam and people's hearts. Particular attention is given to the importance of ‘Aqeedah (correct belief) and its central position within the religion.
The book highlights how some contemporary approaches may place greater emphasis on politics, particular rituals, unity, travelling, or organizational activities while giving insufficient attention to the matters that formed the foundation of the Prophets' call.
Examining Contemporary Da‘wah Movements
A significant part of the work compares the methodology of the Prophets with various contemporary Da‘wah movements. The author discusses differences in their goals and methods and seeks to demonstrate where these approaches differ from the Prophetic way.
Evidence-Based Discussion
The author presents his discussion in a clear, direct, and scholarly manner, supporting his points with proofs and examples. This makes the book useful for readers who want to examine the principles of Da‘wah and understand the importance of following a sound methodology.
A Guide for Those Involved in Da‘wah
The book is particularly beneficial for Du‘aat, students of Islamic knowledge, teachers, and anyone interested in Islamic Da‘wah. It offers insight into the Prophetic approach and the importance of maintaining the correct priorities when seeking to guide others towards Allah.

About this book
Calling to Allaah is a very great honour which is not reached through ease, response and love of relaxation. It is not reached except through beneficial knowledge, righteous action, deep understanding and careful following of the way of the Prophets in calling to Allaah.
In this book Shaykh Rabee' ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee explains in detail the method- ology of the Prophets in their call to Allaah. In it, he answers those questions which face every caller to the faith who wishes to follow the footsteps of the Prophets: What should his call begin with? What should he concentrate on? And what is the goal of his da'wah to Allaah?
After discussing the methodology of the Prophets in calling to Allaah, he compares it with the different methodologies employed by various contemporary da'wah groups and movements that have arisen in our time and highlights the stark contrast between these new, innovated methodologies and the pure and perfect Prophetic way.
This book is an important guide for all those active in the field of da'wah, giving them an insight into the methodology of da'wah which the Prophets employed and how it is a divine and precise methodology which leaves no room for personal opinions, experimenta- tion or individual inclinations!
It will also prove invaluable to all those who desire a return of the honour and vic- tory to the Muslim ummah, since the programme for success lies in following the methodolo- gy of the Prophets. Furthermore the book will enable its reader to be aware of (and therefore protect himself from) the innovated call and methodologies of some of the contemporary
movements.

any call which is imperfect causes an obstacle between Islaam and the hearts, since that which is imperfect and deficient does not lead to that which is perfect and complete. So the matter is as Imaam Maalik, rahimahullaah, said, "The end of this ummah will not be corrected except by that which corrected its first part."
Today we find many enthusiastic youth who want to see the establishmentof Allaah's law on earth and for the Muslims to become uppermost (but) who are confused about the true perception of affairs. So you see them making light of important matters whilst overinflating matters of lesser importance. And turning the means towards the goals into goals in themselves! They have neglected the importance of 'aqeedah (correct beliefs) and have instead turned all their attitudes to other mat- ters, which, though important, are not the most important matter and are not those things which the Prophets focussed their call on. So some of them call for the correction of rule and politics. Others give primary importance to practising certain dhikrs (rememberence of Allaah) and rituals in the manner of the Soofees. Some speak only of uniting the ranks of the Muslims, without caring about their creed and beliefs, and yet oth- ers concentrate on touring the land and attracting people to join them. As the esteemed Shaykh, Saalih al Fawzaan points out in his introduction of this book, their example is "like the case of one who seeks to cure a body whose head has been cut off, since the place of 'aqeedah in the Religion is like the head with respect to the body."
Shaykh Rabee' discusses the methodologies of the contemporary da'wah movements who are at variance with the methodology of the Prophets in calling to Allaah and contrasts them in order to precisely show the man- ner in which these groups and movements have deviated from the Pro- phetic way in their goals and means. He discusses this issue in a clear, frank and scholarly way, every time quoting proofs and witnesses to what he says.
