Page :04 Quoting Ibn Abbas, Al-Bazzar reported: "Asked about Allah's Awliaa, the Prophet replied: "They are those who remind you of Allah when you see them."" Quoting Abu Huraira, Ibn Jarir reported: "There are some among Allah's servants whom prophets, and those who died in the Cause of Allah, envy." "Who are they," it was said; "that we may love them?" The above Hadith was also reported by Abu Daud, on the authority of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, through a strong chain of narration. Quoting 'Ubada Ibn As-Samit, Imam Ahmad reported: "I asked the Prophet: O Allah's Messenger! What does the verse (for them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world and in the Hereafter) mean?' The Prophet replied: 'You have asked me a question which no one of my people has ever asked (before): It is a good vision, which either a man has during his sleep or someone has about him."" Abdullah Ibn As-Samit quoted Abu Dharr as saying: "O Allah's Messenger! Man does something, and people praise Those who believe in the Oneness of Allah, and fear and love Him. 149
