Sometimes, a youth comes to me and says, "I suffer from committing such and such a sin, what shall I do?"
I say to him, "You need to be patient." But my words displeased him, for he believes that my advice is not practical.
Another says, "I endeavour to get up early for the Fajr prayer, but I cannot. So what should I do?"
I say to him, "You have to be patient." His reply is... astonishment!
The true meaning of patience has been lost, and so many of us regard the word "patience" only as a theoretical term. Who among us considers this word as a practical way of solving any problem or attaining any objective?
