Introduction
Our youth are the hope of the future and the leaders of tomorrow. Our expectations for the revival of Islam fall upon them. If our chil- dren are protected, then the whole Ummah will be protected, thus setting the foundation for a very bright and promising future.
With this being established, there are very critical questions we must address:
What do we know about our youths' talents, rights and behav- iors? What do we know about their goals and visions? How do we react to those goals and visions? Do we encourage their positive goals and visions and rectify their flaws?
Our youth today are encountering enormous difficulties and chal- lenges. Some of these great obstacles relate to their outlooks, values and conduct. Our youth have much to be concerned about. They espe- cially need to be concerned about ensuring their future, so that they can play a greater role in life.
The youth possess qualities that distinguish them from all other age brackets in society. These special qualities are most unique in nature and are more critical than all other qualities that other age groups may possess.
We always speak of the wisdom of the elders, but the Ummah can- not achieve any of that theoretical wisdom without having individuals who believe in it and exhaust their relentless efforts with passion and
zeal.
