In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious,
the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allaah, the Lord of all that exists, and may prayers of blessings and peace be upon the noblest of the Prophets and Messengers. To proceed:
Indeed Allaah has favored us with great bounties, and tremendous blessings. From the greatest of these blessings is the blessing of children, who are a delight for their parents and congratulations for the souls. Their position is between the statements of Allaah when He said,
[الكهف : ٤٦] الْمَالُ وَالْبَنُونَ زِينَةُ الْحَيَوةِ الدُّنْيَا
"Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world." (18:46)
And His statement,
وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوَلَدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ﴾ [الأنفال : ٢٨]

class begins and when it ends. You should find out how much are they required to memorize and review. You should also give them (the children) awards and encourage and support them.
Oh Muslim community! Make your houses lofty trees of faith and let the tree of your family be a tree filled with many green leaves. You should memorize the Book of Allaah and your children should strive to do so in the programs for Qur'aanic memorization. Your wives and your daughters should be in the gardens of Paradise in their coming and going to the evening classes for Qur'aanic memorization for women. In this way they will also be memorizing the Book of Allaah. Verily, this is a blessed family. Therefore, do not prevent yourselves from this good. Ibn Mas'ood said, "Indeed this Qur'aan is the banquet of Allaah, so take from it as much as you can. For verily, I do not know of anything smaller than a house that does not contain anything of the Book of Allaah. And verily the heart that does not contain anything of the Book of Allaah is dilapidated just like the rooms of the house in which no one lives." (Ad-Daarimee) lo sguardo ste odw

19. Your children will be among those who are envied
due to this great deed. The Prophet said,
لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ : رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ يَقُومُ بِهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ ...»
[متفق عليه : البخاري ح : ٥٠٢٥، ٧٥٢٩،٥٠٢٦ و مسلم ح : ٨١٥]
"There is no envy except in two cases. A man whom Allaah has given the Qur'aan and he stands (in prayer) reciting it during the night and the day..." (Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim)
20. Safety and salvation from the Hell-fire. The Prophet said,
لَوْ جُمِعَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي إِهَابِ مَا أَحْرَقَهُ اللَّهُ بِالنَّارِ [رواه البيهقي في الشعب ح: ۲۷۰۰ وحسنه الألباني]
"If the Qur'aan is gathered in a body (i.e. a person) Allaah will not burn him with the Fire." (Al-Baihaqee in Ash-Shu'ab and Al-Albaanee graded it good)
21. Safety of the heart from destruction. The Prophet* said,
إِنَّ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِي جَوْفِهِ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ كَالْبَيْتِ
