السَّمِيعُ
As-Sami' - The All-Hearing
As-Sami' is another name and quality of
من Allah
This means the One who can hear us at all times.
Whether you speak secretly or openly, the fact is that He is fully aware of whatever is in the hearts. (Qur'an 67:13)
When people are shouting or babies are crying When lions are roaring or ants are crawling When the birds are perching or water is flowing When people are screaming or supplicating To all these noises,
Allah is the All-Hearing.

Speak the truth, even though it may be bitter
One night, the second khalifah 'Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb walked through the narrow streets of Madinah in silence, observing the state of his people. As he passed by one mud-brick home, he heard a mother and daughter talking to each other.
The mother said: "Tomorrow, when you take the milk to sell, mix it with water. We'll make more money for less milk. Today you sold all the milk and brought back very little money."
"We cannot do such a thing, mother! Didn't you hear 'Umar tell everyone not to do so?" said the daughter.
"And where is 'Umar
now?" her mother
replied. "Even if he can't see us,
Allah surely sees us," the daughter
responded.
Always remember that if you lie, people won't trust you. Always speak the truth, even though you may not like it.
