Gazing out of the airplane window, watching the wings cut through the vast sky and glide past the clouds, is ant incredible experience. Especially for someone like me, who dreams of becoming a pilot one day, insha'Allah!

As I watched the plane's movements closely, fascinated by every detail, Binti leaned in and whispered, trying to be discreet. She was hatching a plan to use the screens in front of us, even though we weren't allowed to turn them on.
"Listen", she said, lowering her voice. "I've tried everything, but Oummi won't even listen to me anymore. She might agree if you ask her..."
"But I don't want to watch a movie!" I whispered back.

Just a few steps from the entrance to the mosque's. courtyard, our group decided to split up the women headed to the Bir 'Azq park, while the men chose to go straight to the mosque.
"See you in an hour, insha'Allah!" Abi called out to Oummi as we went our separate ways.
When the groups split up, Soufian gestured for me to come over, pointing to an unusual circle marked the ground.

Who is Noredine Allam?

Norédine Allam is a French comic book writer, illustrator, and publisher best known for creating Islamic-themed graphic novels that blend humor, family values, and authentic Islamic teachings. After beginning his career as a graffiti artist and founding the Studio 2HB coloring studio, he worked on numerous comic projects, including contributions to the recoloring of the Astérix series. In 2009, he founded Bdouin Editions and launched the popular Muslim Show series, which inspired several successful titles such as The Foulane Family, Walad & Binti, Dialogue, and Agence Règle Tout. His books present everyday experiences of Muslim families through engaging stories, making Islamic values accessible and enjoyable for children, teenagers, and adults alike.
