[Chapter] Regarding Patience
Allah the Exalted says:
"O
you
يَتأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا
who believe! Endure and be more patient."
(Aali Imraan, 200)
Allah also says:
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ والثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّبِرِينَ
باب الصبر
THE CHAPTER ON PATIENCE
"And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruit, but give glad tidings to As-Saabiroon (the patient)." (Al-Baqarah, 155)
Allah also says:
إِنَّمَا يُوَفِّى الصَّبِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
"Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning." (Az-Zumar, 10)
Allah again says in another Verse:
وَلَمَن صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ
"And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives, that would truly be from the things recommended by Allah." (Ash-Shura, 43)

Also Allah says:
وَإِذَا حُتِيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَدُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
حَسِيبًا
[Chapter] The Excellence Of Promoting Greetings
Allah, the Exalted says:
يَتأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّى تَسْتَأْنِسُوا وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَهْلِهَا
"O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted those in them." (An-Noor 27)
Allah also says:
فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُم بُيُوتًا فَسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَنفُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ مُبَرَكَةً طَيِّبَةٌ
"But when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allah (i.c. say As-Salaamu Alaykum [peace be upon you], blessed and good)." (An-Noor 61)
"When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it, or at least return it equally." (An-Nisaa 86)
Also He says:
هَلْ أَتَنكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ . إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا
سَلَامًا قَالَ سَلَامٌ قَوْمٌ مُنكَرُونَ
"Has the story reached you, of the honourable guest [three angels; Jibreel (Gabriel) along with another two] of (Ibraheem)? When they came in to him, and said, 'Salaaman (peace be upon you)!' He answered: 'Salaamun (peace be upon you), you are a people unknown to me."" (Az-Zariyaat 24-25)
