Description of islamic Book

Al-Wala wal-Bara Part 1 by Muhammad Saeed Al-Qahtani is a foundational Islamic Aqeedah book explaining the principle of loyalty and disavowal in Islam according to the understanding of the Salaf. Based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, the book discusses Tawheed, love and hatred for the sake of Allah, sincerity in faith, and maintaining Islamic identity.

From Author:

In Al-Wala wal-Bara Part 1, Muhammad Saeed Al-Qahtani explains that loyalty and disavowal for the sake of Allah are among the essential foundations of Islamic belief and closely connected to the declaration of faith, “La ilaha illa Allah.” The author clarifies that true faith requires believers to love what Allah loves and distance themselves from beliefs and actions that contradict Islam. Drawing upon the Qur’an, authentic Hadith, and statements of early scholars, the book discusses how Tawheed shapes a Muslim’s relationships, loyalty, sincerity, and identity. The author emphasizes that this principle is not based on injustice or harshness, but on maintaining faith, devotion to Allah, and commitment to Islamic teachings. He also explains that genuine love for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ should be reflected in actions, obedience, and righteous conduct rather than mere claims or emotions.
