In the name of Allah, the Merciful and Compassionate. A Muslim Woman's Diary is a book written with the purest intentions of providing help and advice to Muslim sisters around the world who may have a difficult time discovering themselves and finding out where they belong.
I wrote this book firstly for myself but also my loved ones. A book which is full of guidance and advice.
Sometimes it can be difficult to correct someone directly, so this is why I have instead gathered the various thoughts into a diary which can spread the message in a beautiful way. It can be difficult for many to come out publicly with their problems and often challenging to overcome a testing situa- tion. Therefore, this work offers help to Muslim women as well as proves to them that they are not alone in this.
I wish to thank everyone who has helped me with this book, and special thanks are due to my illustrator, who helped pro- duce a perfect cover, and to a few friends who helped me proofread the work. My gratitude also extends to my dear family and husband for always being there for me as well as motivating me to believe I can truly make this book become a reality.
Everything good in this work comes from Allah and every- thing bad comes from me, the author. I sincerely hope you find this book beneficial for you and for your iman and deen, and that it serves as a guide for you to strengthen your con- nection with Allah. I take full responsibility for any errors and mistakes in this book and welcome any suggestions for improvements.

Lacking in haya leads to different issues.
One common issue in our society is that conversations with the opposite gender have been normalized. But be careful of this for it can ruin your haya. Your haya is something that needs to be protected because it is connected to your iman and vice versa. A hadith stated by the Prophet describes this matter:
"Verily, modesty and faith come together. If one of the two is missing, so is the other."

The fewer that know you and your business, the better it is for you and your reputation. But if you find yourself in situations
where you can't control what others say
then do not let it affect you.
Because the more they talk cruelly about you, the better it is for you on the Day of Judgement.

quotes from a Muslima to all her sisters across the world. The book is divided into four fundamental
themes; haya, nafs, sabr and obedience. The aim of this work is to help you deal with the major and
minor issues in your life, as well as guide you to change your mindset into a positive perspective when facing calamities. Along the way, you will also gain an overall understanding of the Islamic principles in how to understand your worth as a Muslim woman in a Western society, how to deal with your nafs, how to maintain sabr in times of hardship and finally how to be obedient to your Lord and parents. By the will of Allah, this book will help you re-evaluate the meaning of your life and assist you to see the light within the darkness.
