I went out to the children to come across children who had been playing in the street, mean- while, the Messenger of Allah came there and caught me by by the back of my neck from behind me. As I looked towards him, I found him smiling, and he said:

The evidence taken from this hadith is his statement, "I went out until I happened to come across children who had been playing in the street."
'Anas said,
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّهِ عَيْهِ بِمَرُ عَلَي بِلَغْيُنِ بِالْغَيْرَةِ هَذا جَلَنيز
The Messenger of Allah passed by some children who were playing; thus, he greeted them with salim." 'Anas ibn Malik said, "The Prophet used to visit Umm Sulaym and she would present something specially prepared for him. I had a younger brother called 'Abú "Umayr. He had a sparrow with which he played, but it died. So, one day the Prophet came to see him and saw him grieved. He asked, 'Why is he sorrowed?" The people replied, "His sparrow has died.' He then said:
مَا قُلِ النَّغْرُ مَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ؟
يا أنتين خلفيت انرغب وان اللك ، نعم، أما القب، يا زغولَ اللهِ
'Unais, did you go where I commanded you to go? I said, Messen- ger of Allah, yes, I am going."**
"Abû 'Umayr! What has happened to the little sparrow? The Prophet joked with him and asked about the bird he used to play with.
