Description du livre
Umdatul Ahkam | Authentic Hadith-Based Fiqh of Islamic Rulings & Jurisprudence
Umdatul Ahkam is a classic compilation of authentic hadiths related to Islamic legal rulings (ahkam) from Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, arranged as a foundational text in fiqh and juristic guidance. This essential reference benefits students, scholars, and anyone studying Shariah law and practical rulings in Islam.
From Author:
An-Najashi, the king of Al-Habasha during the time of the Prophet (H), had a large part and an appreciated effort in granting refuge to the Sahaabah that emigrated to him from Mecca, escaping with their religion from the trials of the Mushrikeen (idolaters).
He believed in the Prophet (H) and bore witness to the truth. So it was from Allāh’s appreciation to him that He informed His Prophet (H) of his death when he died as an honor to him.

Who is Al Hafiz Abu Muhammad?
Imam al-Maqdisi compiled this work with the purpose of collecting the most relevant hadiths related to legal rulings and organizing them by topic (such as purity, prayer, transactions, marriage, etc.) so that jurists and students could easily access authoritative narrations for fiqh reasoning. His arrangement makes this work a trusted reference in Hanbali circles, and influential beyond that tradition due to the authenticity and juristic relevance of the narrations selected.
