Section One: Knowing and Believing in Allah - the Mighty and Majestic
Rejection of shirk (polytheism)
1) Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah says: 'I am the One Who does not want an ally the most, whoever does good deeds where he is associating others with Me, then I leave him with his association." Reported by Muslim.
اوود
The Keys Allah does not sleep
2) Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood up amongst us and said five things. He said: 'Allah does not sleep, and it is not befitting that He should sleep. He lowers the Scales and raises them. The deed done during the night is taken up to him before the deed done during the day, and the deed done during the day is taken up to Him before the deed done during the night. His Veil is Light and if He were to remove it, the glory of His Face would burn everything of His creation, as far as His gaze reaches."" Reported by Muslim.
Shirk (Polytheism) is divided into two types:
Major Shirk, which is the greatest sin, as Allah the Exalted has informed us that He does not forgive anyone who commits it unless he or she repents. An example of this is: invoking other than Allah and seeking aid from other than Allah, sacrificing for other than Allah and making a nathr (vow) to other than Allah.
The second type of Shirk is Minor Shirk. This includes Riya (showing-off), swearing by other than Allah, saying: as Allah wills and as you will, saying: I have no other than Allah and you, or I rely on Allah and on you.
