With lardship Comes Ease... or does it ?
The Holy Quran 94:5-6. For verily with hardship
vig of both mes ease. Of course, the context of all Quranic Quotes is very important, as it ten relates to a specific period of time, or challenge in the Prophet luhammad life, however we will analyse this quote based on common ifficulties we face in our respective lives.
There must have been many times, perhaps even right now where you are iffering some sort of difficulty or affliction which seems like it will never end is simply too much burden for you. Perhaps it is negatively impacting your ork or family life, perhaps it's causing you miserliness, perhaps you do not nderstand quite WHY it is happening. These are all valid emotional responses, owever there may be more to it.
In The Holy Qur'an it states "Indeed, Allah wants to cleanse and purify our souls, not to burden you, but to purify you and complete His favour upon

you and God, no body forced you to wake up to pray, you voluntarily struggled or the cause of Allah, ff sabililah ('in the cause of God') and its completely okay for you to take that as a personal triumph for yourself SubhanAllah.
This is not to say that waking up before dawn, out of your warm,
Let's relate back to the idea of does God want to punish you if you are thankful and believe, have we ever asked ourselves what thankfulness and belief actually means? What do we do on a day-to-day basis that builds habi within us that makes both gratitude and trust in Allah at the core of our bein-omfortable bed is an easy feat. Very often your mind will have a million and because although Allah has provided us with the perfect text-based guidane reasons to not get up and why it's okay to sleep instead - and at 3am in the via the Qur'an and Hadith, simply reading it doesn't automatically instil bel morning, trust me they all sound extremely reasonable! Surah Muzammil states into the depths of our soul, rather taking time to understand it and then appl actively to your own life is the true Sunnah.
Exertion is quite an extreme topic, in Sahih Al Bukhari, in an authentic Hadith it is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad prayed at night till his f were swelling, despite all of his faults being forgiven, and he simply responded with 'Should I not be a grateful slave to Allah,' SubhanAllah, of course this is the messenger of Allah and we could never achieve his status however we ARE meant to strive for the cause of Allah, and what better example than the messenger of Allah himself. In Islam we have the tahajju prayer, many scholars describe it as a time of pleasure - this is because it is ju
Indeed, the hours of the night are more effective for concurrence [of heart and ongue] and more suitable for word' Allah literally tells us that our dua's are worth more when we pray at night, when everybody else is sleeping, the Surah goes on to say 'indeed by day for you is prolonged occupation' meaning amidst the day we have so many responsibilities, making it more difficult to give your Salat your full presence, but nobody can say they have a meeting at 3:14AM!
The benefit of praying at night is thus quite self-explanatory, no work or people complete focus on God. The driving factor that could change your life for the better is the fact that you have (or want to have) a burning desire to strive for excellence (ihsan) And with excellence comes the most beautiful gift of all,
