Signs of the Last Hour | Islamic Guide to the Signs of the Day of Judgment

Signs of the Last Hour by Imam Al-Qurtubi is a concise Islamic book exploring the signs and events that will occur before the coming of the Final Hour. Based on guidance from the Qur'an and Sunnah, the book explains that although the exact time of the Last Hour is known only to Allah, certain signs and events have been described to prepare believers for its arrival. The work encourages Muslims to reflect upon these signs, strengthen their faith, and remain prepared for the trials and tribulations associated with the end times. Written in an accessible format, this book is beneficial for readers seeking to increase their knowledge of Islamic eschatology, the Day of Judgment, and the Hereafter. It serves as a useful reminder for personal study and Islamic learning.

From Author:

The Qur'an and the sunnah of the prophet ( PBUH) inform us time and again that the final hour is close, without mentioning its appointed time. As for the knowledge of the time of the hours, it has not been given to any angel or prophet,. Nobody besides Allah knows when the final hours is. However certain sings and events are going to take place prior to the coming of the final hour, so that Muslims will take precaution against its trials and tribulations and be prepared for its coming.

Introduction
Praise
raise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, we praise Him, seek His Aid, and ask for His
Forgiveness. Peace and Blessing be upon His Prophet, Muhammad, his household, companions, and followers of right guidance till the Day of Judgment.
The Qur'an has described in detail the horrors of the Day of Resurrection, the ordeals of the Day of Gathering, all kinds of punishments awaiting the disbelievers and polytheists, and everlasting Paradise for the believers, so that people would not run after their worldly affairs and desires, and forget the Day of Accounting; the Day when they meet their Lord and they will be held accountable for every deed that they had committed in this world.
A true believer is one who is sincerely convinced that we are on this earth temporarily, and that this world will be annihilated at an appointed time.
