Seeing the Prophet (PBUH) in Dreams and Visions by Shaykh Mashoor Salman is a spiritually enriching Islamic book that explores the reality and authenticity of seeing the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in dreams. Based on authentic Hadith, the book explains that Shaytan cannot take the form of the Prophet ﷺ, making such visions truthful when they meet correct descriptions. The author also shares scholarly insights and real accounts to deepen understanding of this unique experience. It has been confirmed in a number of hadith, sahih and hasan, that shaytan is unable to takes the form of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is unable to present to the seer an image which causes him doubt as to whether it is Prophet PBUH or not. The most famous of these ahadith is what has been reported by al-Bukhari (no.6993) Muslim (no. 2266) and others from the hadith of Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (RA) who attributed it to the Prophet (PBUH): “Whoever sees me in a dream will see me when awake, or it is as if he has seen me while awake, and shaytan cannot resemble me.” In al-Bukhari (no. 6996) and Muslim (no.2267) from the hadith of Hadhrat Abu Qatadah (RA) who attributed it to the Prophet (PBUH) “whoever sees me (in a vision) has definitely seen me.” And the Prophet (PBUH) said “whoever sees me (in a vision) has seen the truth as Shaytan does not take my Form.”
