From Author:

My Lord has bestowed Ghada , Assia,Nora and Ladan upon me. it is through them all that i am capable of appreciated with a heart which is devoid of mercy, happiness,or emotions, indeed, they are the genuine extension of that warmroot to my mother , whose beautiful name Nora which i am so grateful , after my gratitude to my lord : Like a gentle shade, she constantly embraced and overehelmed me with her affection.she imbued me with much of her life, spirit, blood and language.had i not gone through the wonderful school of my mother,i would in no way have nsavoured the sweetness of hope, satisfaction, and beauty.

Does it stand to reason to phrase eloquent introductions on women's rights and their status in islam , while we fall too short to put that into practice in our daily life_at home,at school,in the market,or in the mosque ?

My Daughters
My Lord has bestowed Ghada, Assia, Nora and Ladan upon me. It is through them all that I am capable of appreciating the beauty of life, love, mercy and kindness; for life cannot be appreciated with a heart which is devoid of mercy, happiness, or emotions. Indeed, they are the genuine extension of that warm root to my mother, whose beautiful name Nora which I am so grateful, after my gratitude to my Lord: like a gentle shade, she constantly embraced and overwhelmed me with her affection. She imbued me with much of her life, spirit, blood, and language. Had I not gone through the wonderful school of my mother, I would in no way have savoured the sweetness of hope, satisfaction, and beauty.
Does it stand to reason to phrase eloquent introductions on women's rights and their status in Islam, while we fall too short to put that into practice in our daily life - at home, at school, in the market, or in the mosque?
When shall we realize that the statement 'She was created from a crooked rib' was not meant to be used as an insult against the woman every time we are not on good terms with her? Rather, it was a way to guide us to the ideal manner to deal with her as another creature coming from the 'flower' -with grace, patience, and forgiveness - considering her human nature. She was not created to be another 'man', but to serve as a complement to him in a natural society, where the man and the woman act as two components thereof.
My Lord has blessed me with several sons, but I would rather speak about 'my daughters', because I want to speak of something different and outstanding!
I am grateful to my daughters - those richly fragranced with the scent of Paradise, and to whoever has addressed me with the name of 'Father'.

To my mother,
Dedication
Nora Alhidan,
To my daughters:
Ghada..
Assia ..
Nora..
Ladan..
To my little flower:
Rimaz,
And to all those who called me
Daddy'.
Ever since your first lisps, I have been kissing the dye of love on your palms. Now I lie on beds still imparting your scent, and compose phrases of nostalgia
Salman.
