المبحث الرابع: معاوية في عهد الحسن بن علي بن ابي طالب
المرحلة الخامسة :
خروج معاوية عليهم من الشام وتوجهه إلى العراق بعد أن وصل خبر خروج الحسن من
الكوفة إلى المدائن بجيوشه .
المرحلة السادسة :
تبادل الرسل بين الحسن و معاوية ، ووقوع الصلح بينهما رضوان الله عليهما .
المرحلة السابعة : محاولة اغتيال الحسن ، فبعد نجاح مفاوضات الصلح بين الحسن ومعاوية ، شرع الحسن له في تهيئة نفوس أتباعه على تقبل الصلح الذي تم، فقام فيهم خطيباً ليبين لهم ما تم بينه وبين معاوية، وفيما هو يخطب هجم عليه بعض رجال معسكره محاولين قتله، لكن الله أنجاه كما أنجاه من قبل
المرحلة الثامنة :
تنازل الحسن بن علي عن الخلافة وتسليمه الأمر إلى معاوية رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين بعد أن أنجى الله الحسن بن علي من الفتنة التي وقعت في معسكره، ترك المدائن وسار إلى الكوفة وخطب في أهلها فقال: أما بعد فإن أكيس الكيس (2) التقى، وإن أحمق الحمق الفجور، وإن هذا الأمر الذي اختلفت فيه أنا ومعاوية إما كان حقاً لي تركته لمعاوية إرادة إصلاح هذه الأمة وحقن دمائهم، أو يكون حقاً كان لامرئ كان أحق به مني ففعلت ذلك ﴿وَان أَدْرِي لَعَلَّهُ فِتْنَةٌ لَكُمْ وَمَتَعُ إِلَى حِينٍ) (3) [الأنبياء : 111] .
ثانياً: أهم أسباب ودوافع الصلح وأما أهم الأسباب والدوافع للصلح الذي تم بين الحسن ومعاوية فهي :
1 - الرغبة فيما عند الله وإرادة صلاح هذه الأمة : قال الحسن بن علي الله رداً على نفير الحضرمي عندما قال له : إن الناس يزعمون أنك تريد الخلافة . فقال : كانت جماجم العرب بيدي يسالمون من سالمت ويحاربون من حاربت
فتركتها ابتغاء وجه الله (4) .
