About The Author:
A popular Islamic scholar and writer from India who lived in the 20th century was Maulana Muhammad Idrees Kandhlawi. In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, in the town of Kandhla, he was born in 1916. His father was a well-known Islamic scholar, and he was raised in a family of scholars.
Maulana Idrees Kandhlawi was a prolific author who authored numerous books on a wide range of topics associated with Islamic studies. His works of literature contain volumes on Islamic history, religion, law, and spirituality. لغوی لحاظ سے الفتح ( کھونا) بند کرنے کا متضاد ہے لیکن یہاں اس کا مفہوم مسلمانوں سے برسر پر یکار ممالک کو فتح کر کے دشمن کی سرزمینوں میں داخل ہونا ہے۔ فتح کی جمع فتوحات ہے۔ یوں فتح کو جیت اور کامیابی کے معنی میں لیا جا سکتا ہے۔ فتح کا مفہوم جنگی فتح تک محدود نہیں بلکہ اس میں زندگی کے تمام پہلو شامل ہیں خواہ وہ فوجی، اخلاقی یا معاشرتی ہوں۔ ان مجموعی اثرات کے نتیجے میں مفتوحہ علاقوں کے لوگ برضا و رغبت اسلام قبول کرتے چلے گئے، عقیدہ توحید ان کے ذہنوں میں راسخ ہو گیا اور ان کے مشرکانہ اور بت پرستانہ عقا ک ملیا میٹ ہو گئے جو اسلام سے پہلے رائج تھے۔ فتوحات کے عمومی مفہوم میں جہاد شامل ہے جس کے علمبردار بن کر مسلمان شہر وممالک فتح کرتے چلے گئے۔ اُنھوں نے دعوتِ الہی کا پرچم بلند کرتے ہوئے اسلام کا پیغام معلوم دنیا کے گوشے گوشے میں پہنچایا اور بدی کی ظالمانہ قوتوں کا استیصال کیا جو ان ملکوں میں مسلمانوں اور لوگوں کو اسلام پر عمل پیرا ہونے سے روکتی تھیں۔ فتوحات میں عسکری مہمات و واقعات اور ان کے ساتھ اسلامی دعوت کا پھیلاؤ بھی شامل ہیں۔ ان کا آغاز عہد نبوی سے ہوا اور خلافت صدیقی میں فتوحات کا دائرہ آگے بڑھا۔ ان کے بعد تینوں خلفائے راشدین اور اموی، عباسی، ایوبی، ممالیک اور عثمانی ادوار اور دیگر اسلامی ریاستوں میں جوان کی ہم عصر تھیں، اسلامی فتوحات کا تسلسل جاری رہا۔ یہ عین مناسب ہے کہ فتوحات کے واقعات میں نمایاں دفاعی اقدامات بھی شامل کیے جائیں جن کا مقصد دشمنوں کی یلغار کو روکنا اور اس سے پہلے کی فتوحات کا تحفظ کرنا تھا۔
