Description du livre
An inspiring Islamic book that offers guidance on creating a peaceful, loving, and faith-filled home based on Qur’anic values and Prophetic teachings.
From Author:
At its core, Home Sweet Home is about relationships: the power it has over one’s sense of peace and self and how knowing one’s rights and duties can empower one to confidently set boundaries. Most importantly, it discusses issues and conflicts that may exist within the home and how to ensure they are not mismanaged and handled disproportionately. It emphasizes the need to reflect and ponder over the origins of conflict and aims to make its readers more cognizant of the Islamic principles related to every relationship and interaction. In particular, there is a focus on the positive impact faith can have on smoothing out many common problems.
This is underpinned by psychological concepts, the Qur’an and Hadith literature. By taking into account the various issues faced by many and the different types of relationships, a holistic understanding can be crucially obtained. Through the insights provided by this book, there is hope that it leads to better and more confident decisions being taken in the home so that family members can thrive together and support each other.

it has also proven that fathers can quickly and effectively develop the ability to respond to their children's needs in
the same way as mothers do.
Parents must be present in their children's lives and not prioritize their careers over them. There is nothing greater and more honourable than raising a human being For their healthy development, children must know that they are unconditionally loved. This requires parents to learn and practise patience. Children in their first few years of life deserve total patience and care. Parents must realize that their love and care for their chil- dren must supersede their feelings of anger or lack of patience. They must restrain their anger and manage it well. Children should not be made to suffer due to their parents' repressed traumas. It is not the duty of young children to be patient with their parents. Rather, parents must show ultimate mercy, compassion, love, and care towards their children. They must make their children feel secure and loved, even when they make a mistake, and not hinge their desire for perfection on their children. Parents must teach their children to develop a positive mindset: speak kindly of others and speak kindly of themselves.
