Description du livre

An-Nawawi’s Forty Hadith – Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ | Ezzedin Ibrahim & Denys Johnson-Davies

An-Nawawi’s Forty Hadith is a timeless and essential anthology compiled by Imam Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi, one of the most respected scholars in Islamic history. This edition, translated by Ezzedin Ibrahim and Denys Johnson-Davies, presents forty of the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ sayings (ahadith) that together form a framework for living a devout and balanced Islamic life. These hadiths cover fundamental themes such as intention, sincerity, repentance, worship, social interaction, and moral conduct. They are widely used for memorization and reflection because they distill the core teachings of Islam into short, powerful statements.
