Description du livre

A Critique of the Ruling of al-Taqlid is a significant work by Imam al-Shawkani that addresses one of the most debated topics in Islamic jurisprudence—whether it is permissible to follow scholars without directly examining the evidence.

The book critically analyzes the concept of Taqlid, which refers to accepting religious rulings without knowing their proofs from the Qur’an and Hadith.

From Author:

The author explains that he wrote this treatise to clearly determine the ruling of Taqlid—whether it is permissible or not—by presenting strong evidence and removing doubts through scholarly analysis.
