Description of Book

The Book of Major Sins by Imam at Tamimi | Repentance of sins | Islamic Books

The trials and tribulations that plague our lives—both personal and global—are often not random misfortunes, but consequences of our own actions. In this powerful and eye-opening book, the respected Imam delves into the connection between the hardships we endure and the sins we commit, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Drawing from the clear guidance of the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah, he explains how individual and collective disobedience to Allah leads to corruption, suffering, and moral decay in society.

The book highlights both the obvious sins—such as lying, backbiting, and neglecting prayer—and the subtle, less-discussed transgressions that have become normalized in everyday life. With strong scriptural evidence, it calls upon Muslims to recognize the gravity of sin and understand its spiritual and worldly consequences.

More than just a list of wrongdoings, this book is a call to reflection and repentance. It serves as a reminder that true success and relief from tribulations can only be achieved by returning to Allah, purifying our hearts, and upholding righteousness in all areas of life.
