Forbidden and disliked prayer times
Ḥarām (prohibited) times of Salāh
All fard Salāhs have fixed times within which we should perform them. However, there are three times of the day when it is not allowed to perform any Ṣalāh. These
are:
1. Sunrise: during the time that the sun is rising. 2. Midday: the time when the sun is at its peak. 3. Sunset: during the time the sun is setting. An exception to the above is if a person has not performed 'Aşr Salah and the sun has begun to set: 'Aşr must still be performed during the setting of the sun. However, doing this is severely disliked.
There are three times of the day when it is not allowed to perform any form of Ṣalah.

Types of rulings
Islām is a complete way of life. Allah, in the Qur'ān and through the Propheta, taught us how to live our daily lives, and what we should and should not do.
To make it easier for us to understand which actions are more important than others, scholars have divided all actions into seven types. Knowing these helps us to know what actions we have to do, and what actions we must stay away from. It also explains things we may do and things that are best avoided. The seven types are:
Fard
Wajib Sunnah Nafl/Mustaḥab
Mubāḥ
Makruh
Ḥarām
Fard means something that is obligatory; it has to be done. It is an order from Allah and is usually found in the Qur'an and ḥadīth. Anyone who denies a fard act will no longer remain a Muslim.

something becomes twice its length.
80
Fajr
It begins with the start of
şubḥ ṣadiq (the true dawn),
which is the whiteness that
spreads horizontally across
the horizon.
• It ends when the sun starts to rise.
'Isha'
• It begins when the twilight has disappeared. • It ends when subḥ ṣādiq (true dawn) appears.

Elements from all core subjects are covered in the textbooks: Qur'anic stories and history; Islamic beliefs ('aqidah); religious rulings and rituals (fiqh); major episodes from the life of Prophet Muḥammad (sirah); as well as key areas of social, personal and spiritual development (tarbiyah). Textbook 5 revises and builds on core knowledge from the previous books, covers new content, and prepares children to build on this through use of the rest of the primary and secondary series.
The full Safar curriculum is composed of four interlinking parts:
Learn about Islam Series (Islamic Studies);
