FOREWORD
All Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad SAW and, on his family, and Companions. Parents have the monumental task of bringing their children up with the right knowledge and education. Their responsibility within the parameters of Islam is to steer the children and bring them into an environment that is in accordance with the guidelines of the Qur'an and the teaching of the Prophet SAW.
The Messenger SAW said: "Allah will ask every caretaker about the people under his care, and the man will be asked about the people of his household." [Nasa'i & Abu Dawud].
To this end, we wish to congratulate the author and the team that has put together this book with the aim of raising responsible Muslim adults. Beyond a workbook, this book represents the essentials of Islamic Education, introducing the young to the basic tenets of the Deen.
The book, however, should not be seen as an easy replacement for what every parent needs to do at home to raise their children. The success of this curriculum can only be achieved when the lessons are reinforced and practiced at home, together with other family members. This is how the child can learn faster, adopt the right attitudes and behaviors in accordance with the Qur'an and Sunnah, and ultimately, become a generation that is successful in this world and the Hereafter.
Parents, too, need to be conscious that Islam provides the blueprint for the individual and society. It is all-encompassing and there is no separation a between the child's Islamic education and his social dimension. When parents understand this, only then we can truly embrace Islam as a complete way of life.
We hope this book will be the first of many to encourage the young mind to discover our beautiful Deen. We also pray that Allah enlightens the minds of the young and their parents to seek knowledge, not as a means to an end, but to fully realize that understanding faith will stimulate and elevate a righteous
existence.

، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلَّهِ, نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِيْنُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ وَنَعُوْذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شُرُوْرِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا مَنْ يَهْدِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلاَ هَادِيَ
وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إلهَ إلا اللهَ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُهُ. صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَسَلامُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى جَمِيعِ الأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ, وَعَلَى صَحَابَتِهِ وَالِ بَيْتِهِ, وَعَلَى مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمْ إِلَى يُوْمِ الدِّيْنِ.
فَإِنَّ أَصْدَقَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ، وَإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْهَدْيِ هَدْيُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَشَرَّ الْأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا، وَكُلَّ بِدْعَةٍ ضَلَالَةٌ.
As an Islamic Studies teacher, my intentions are to help future generations with these:
Understanding the concept of 'Aqidah.
Help develop 'Akhlaq.
Loving Allah through Ibadah.
Learning Islamic knowledge based on the Qur'an & Sunnah. Know the Sirah of Allah's Messenger & stories of the companions.
This book is written in an easy and simple method to make learning Islamic Studies fun & entertainment for our children together with their teachers and parents. I have also included exercises for every sub-topic where teachers and parents can measure the children's knowledge from what they have learned and how they can later apply the knowledge into their lives. I hope this book will be most useful to help the children, teachers and parents to practice and spread the knowledge from the Qur'an, and the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Uthman ibn Affan R.A. Dhu an-Nurayn
"The Possessor of Two Lights
> The companions called him Dhu al-Nurayn because he married two of the prophet's daughters, Ruqayyah and
Umm Kulthum.
>The angels felt shy when they meet Uthman because he
was very shy.
> Uthman emigrated two migrations, Habasha and Makkah. He accepted Islam early.
> He was the Third Caliph.
He is also one of the 10 Sahabah (Companions) guaranteed paradise by Allah SWT.
> Uthman ibn Affan had one child from his marriage to Ruqayyah. His name was Abdullah. Because of this, the sahabah called him Abu Abdullah. After Ruqayyah passed away during the time of Badr, he later married Umm Kulthum.

Abu al-Hasan wa al-Husin "Father of Hasan and Husin"
>He was the first cousin of the Prophet. Ali is the first child and second person to accept Islam after the Prophet's wife, Khadijah.
>He was only 13 years when he became a Muslim.
> He was under the care of the Prophet after the death of his father, Abu Talib.
>He was one of the 10 Sahabah (Companions) guaranteed paradise by Allah SWT.
> He was the Fourth Caliph.
> Soon after winning the battle of Badr, the prophet Muhammad gave his youngest daughter, Fatimah to Ali in
marriage.
He had four Children with Fatimah R.A, Al-Hasan, Al- Husain, Al-Muhsin and Umamah
He died in the year 40 Hijrah.
