Allah blessed them with a son, Ishaq or Isaac, and he was a great Prophet. Allah is All-Powerful. 57.
9-The Story of Prophet Uzayr Long ago, a prophet named Uzayror Ezra had a donkey on which he traveled far and wide. One day he encountered the ruins of an old city, its walls and homes crumbled. "How can Allah possibly build back this dead city and make it full of life?" Prophet Uzayr said to himself. Suddenly Uzayr and his donkey died. They turned to dust and bones. One hundred years later Allah brought Prophet Uzayr back to life. Allah sees and hears all things. 139.
10-The Beautiful Prayer Prophet Musa rested in the shade of a tree near the well. He had traveled for several days and had not had much to eat or drink. He was extremely tired. He wanted to start a new life here, but he didn't know anyone in the city. In utter helplessness, Musa prayed: "Lord, I am truly in need of whatever blessing You may send down for me. 11-Fir'awn is Drowned No sooner had Fir'awn and his whole army reached the middle of the sea than the waves standing obediently on either side like huge walls returned to their original form by Allah's order, and fell on them. Realizing that he had been wrong, Fir'awn cried out: "I believe that there is no deity but Allah in whom the Children of Israel believe." Allah rejected his last-minute confession, and Fir'awn and his army were crushed and drowned in the raging sea. Human beings are responsible for their actions on earth. 199.
12-Allah Gives the Commandments Prophet Musa spent 40 nights on the mountaintop. There Allah gave Musa the tablets with commandments for the Children of Israel to follow. Allah said: "Musa, I have chosen you of all mankind for My Messages and My Words. Hold fast to what I have given you; and be among the grateful." All believers have faith in the revelations sent to the Prophet Musa, which was the Torah. The last revelation sent by Allah is the Quran, which was revealed to the last of Allah's prophets, the Prophet Muhammad. Allah has given us laws to live by. 207.
