Ibn kathir
Ibn Kathir (1301–1373 CE) was a prominent Islamic scholar, historian, and Qur'anic commentator. His most famous work, Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Azim, remains one of the most widely read Qur'anic commentaries, offering insightful explanations of the meanings of the verses with references to Hadith and early scholarly opinions. He is also renowned for his historical work, Al-Bidaya wa'l-Nihaya, which chronicles the history of the world from creation to his time, as well as for his contributions to Hadith studies.
