From Author:

A 'believer' is that individual whom submits to the Creator: Allah (SWT). This person is defined as being a 'Muslim'. A Muslim is placed on Earth for a short time in order to worship and obey their Creator. They are given a 'life manual' in the form of the Qur'an and Ahadith. If a person lives their life according to the advice and instruction contained within these sacred sources of knowledge, then he or she will have true contentment of the mind and soul. However, if one diverts from these teachings, then this will result in anguish and turmoil. The prescription and treatment for this diversion starts with a 'reminder'. Reminders in this book consist of inspirational and educational articles, stories, poetry and quizzes. They are based upon the teachings from the Qur'an - the words of Allah (SWT), Ahadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Lives of Prophets (AS), Statements of Sahaba (RA) and Advice of Scholars (RA). This beneficial manuscript is an ideal tool for all whom are searching for a 'reminder' that enables them to become spiritually, emotionally and religiously reinvigorated

What Is the Objective of My Life?
As Muslims, it is important that we constantly question ourselves with regards to the objective of our life. If the above question was proposed to us, then what would our answer be? Would we say, "Our objective in life is to get married, to have children, to buy a property, to become rich, etc." Or would we say, "Our objective in life is to worship Allah ta'ala." A Muslims response should always be the latter, as Allah ta'älä tells us clearly in the Quran,
"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."
(Qur'an 51:56)
That is the ultimate purpose of our lives and that is why we reside on Earth. If we died today, Allah ta'ala will not question us about any of the materialistic aspects of this world, i.e. Did we get married? Did we have children? Did we buy a house? Did we earn £x amount of money? Rather, Allah ta'ala will say, "Did you worship Me? Did you obey My commands? Did you abstain from what I forbade?" It is important that we reflect upon these questions and consider what our answers would be.
May Allah ta'ala give us the ability to fulfil the true purpose of our existence. Ameen.

The Supplication of Prophet Musa 'Alayhis Saläm
"My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."
(Qur'an 28:24)
Life in this world consists of pain, adversity and hardship. This was and is experienced by every individual including the Prophets of Allah ta'ala.
One of the Prophets that endured affliction was Prophet Musa 'alayhis salām. There was a period in his life when he was alone, helpless and in difficulty. He arrived at a place called Madian: barefooted, hungry and fearful. He had nowhere to go and no one to help him. At this point he sat under a tree and made the above supplication (du'a) to Allah ta'ala, with such sincerity and conviction that his Lord would assist him.
Allah ta'ala accepted his du'a and granted him remarkable relief from his hardship. Through this du'a Prophet Musa 'alayhis salām was blessed with a wife, a home,
employment, Prophecy and lastly victory against Pharaoh.
The du'a that was uttered by Prophet Musa 'alayhis salām had a significant positive influence in his life. Therefore, we should take lessons from this incident and recite this du'a if we are undergoing any type of difficulty or hardship.
