يا إخوتي وأخواتي، إن مسألة القلب ليست بالأمر الهين، فلو اهتممنا جميعاً بإصلاحه، لصلحت الأمة الإسلامية تبعاً لذلك. يجب علينا أن نبين أهمية القلب، حتى يضع كل واحد منا قلبه نصب عينيه، ويعمل ليله ونهاره على إصلاحه.
نذكركم بأن القلب قطعة لحم في الجسد تساعد على تدفق الدم، وإذا توقفت فإن الجسد كله يموت تلقائياً. القلب هو أحد أسباب السعادة في هذه الحياة وفي الآخرة، وهو في الوقت ذاته سبب للحياة التعيسة والمحزنة.
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
"ألا وإن في الجسد مضغة، إذا صلحت صلح الجسد كله، وإذا فسدت فسد الجسد كله، ألا وهي القلب".
