Shaykh Mar'i ibn Yusuf
Shaykh Mar’i ibn Yusuf al‑Karmi (often referred to simply as Mar’i al‑Karmi) was a notable Sunni Islamic scholar of the 16th–17th century, known for his wide‑ranging contributions to Islamic sciences, particularly Aqeedah (creed), Tafsir (Qur’anic exegesis), Fiqh (jurisprudence) and spiritual topics. Born in Tulkarm (now in Palestine) in 1580, he pursued advanced Islamic studies in Jerusalem and Al‑Azhar University in Egypt, where he became one of the prominent scholars of his era.
