Shaykh Dr. Gamal Man’aa Solaiman (1932–2017) was a highly respected Egyptian Azhari scholar, imam, educator, and Islamic jurist who served as the Chief Imam of the London Central Mosque (Regent’s Park Mosque) for more than two decades. He was widely regarded as one of the most senior Al-Azhar scholars in Europe and played a major role in teaching Islamic jurisprudence, comparative fiqh, and Islamic leadership across the UK and internationally. He also taught at Muslim College London and later served as Head Imam in Ottawa, Canada.
