Shaikh Abd Al Qadir Al Jilani

Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani (1077–1166 CE), also known as Ghawth al-A‘zam, was one of the most renowned Islamic scholars, jurists, and spiritual masters in Islamic history. Born in Jilan (present-day Iran) and later based in Baghdad, he became a leading figure in Islamic jurisprudence and spirituality.

He was a prominent scholar of the Hanbali school of thought and is widely known as the founder of the Qadiriyya—one of the oldest and most widespread Sufi orders in the Muslim world.

His teachings emphasize:

Sincerity (Ikhlas) in worship
Complete reliance on Allah (Tawakkul)
Purification of the heart (Tazkiyah)
Adherence to the Qur’an and Sunnah

His sermons and writings continue to inspire Muslims globally, focusing on spiritual discipline and closeness to Allah.
