Reza Shah-Kazemi

Dr. Reza Shah-Kazemi is a British Islamic scholar, author, and researcher specializing in comparative religion, Islamic Studies, Sufism, Shi‘ism, and comparative mysticism. He holds a PhD in Comparative Religion from the University of Kent and has worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London. He has authored and translated several works exploring Islamic spirituality, Qur’anic thought, mysticism, and interfaith understanding.

One of his notable works is The Other in the Light of the One: The Universality of the Qur’an and Interfaith Dialogue, published by the Islamic Texts Society. The book examines Qur’anic universality and interfaith dialogue through the perspectives of Sufi thinkers including Ibn ‘Arabi, Rumi, and al-Ghazali.
