Mawlana Abdul-Wakeel Alawi was an Indian Islamic scholar, Urdu translator, and Da‘i. IslamHouse identifies him specifically as a translator and caller to Islam working in the Urdu language in India.

He is particularly known for his Urdu translation of Bulugh-ul-Maram, the classical Hadith collection compiled by Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani. The Dar-us-Salam edition contains the Arabic text alongside his Urdu translation, with brief commentary by Shaykh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarkpuri.
