Imam Abu Abdul Rahman Muhammad bin al-Husayn al-Sulami al-Naysaburi (947 – 412 AH / ~1034 CE) was a renowned classical Islamic scholar, Sufi master, muhaddith (Hadith expert), tafsir writer, and prolific author from Nishapur (in historical Khorasan) — one of the great centres of Islamic learning.
