Ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani

Ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani was one of the most influential scholars of the Maliki school and a central figure in North African Islamic scholarship. Born in Qayrawan (Tunisia), he became known as “Imam of the Malikis of the West” due to his deep mastery of fiqh, theology, Arabic language, and hadith.
