(1915–2000) was a distinguished Egyptian scholar, educator, and author widely recognized for his influential work Fiqh us-Sunnah. A graduate of Al-Azhar University, he dedicated his scholarship to presenting Islamic rulings directly from authentic sources while making them understandable for contemporary readers. His writings have been translated into numerous languages and remain among the most widely studied works on Islamic jurisprudence in the Muslim world.
